Most practice apps give you a click or a pulse for you to play along to, and leave it up to you to determine whether you’re playing in time. BeatBalance listens to you play, and tells you exactly what’s going on - so you can fix it.

Build your inner clock
The patented silent metronome allows the previously impossible: practise without a click but with the knowledge that you are maintaining a steady tempo. Play in time for 2 bars and the metronome sound drops out. Start to drift and it comes straight back in.

Show progress over time
Practice works best when it’s repeated, and it’s easy to wonder if it’s really making a difference. Sometimes we just have bad days. By comparing exercises over time, you can see your progress and keep your motivation.

Identify areas for improvement
Using the detailed feedback from BeatBalance, you and your teacher can identify areas to work on, with separate analysis for each hand and detailed breakdowns of performance by consistency (clustering of hits), solidity (time without metronome support) and balance (grouping around the beat).
